30% protection is 70% non-protection, and .7 x .7 =. 49% non-protection which equates to 51% protection, so we are getting there. Still, I’m not sure that multiplication is appropriate here. Consider that. 3 x .3 =.09. Do we really want to go from 30% protection to 9% protection?
