A global pandemic requires a species response. It’s not about you and your "freedom." Unfortunately individualism is in the ascendancy now so no one gets that. Vaccine resistance, as with the childish fuss over masking endangers others. No one has the right to do that. That’s why there are speed limits. You can pay a fine, lose your driver’s license, even go to jail in some jurisdictions. So yeah. I’m all for vaccine mandates, passports, etc.
The pandemic is but a warm up for the real species wide threat looming, catastrophic climate change. Judging from the the way Homo Sapiens sapiens is handling the pandemic, I’d say we’re fucked.
