A good essay, but sorry, not especially disturbing and not making me rethink reality any more than usual. It's one of my favorite subjects, so keep writing about it and I'll keep reading.
What is disturbing is that realization that the universe simply is. Reality does not give a shit about us. We invent stories because otherwise it would be unbearable.
