Of course more young people are getting seriously ill. They are less likely to be vaccinated.

Of course a greater percentage of people hospitalized with COVID-19 are vaccinated. There are more vaccinated people out there. If you are an epidemiologist you want to see that 100% of the sick people are vaccinated. That would mean everyone was vaccinated, and the disease would be rare.

Of course vaccinated people are transmitting it. We always knew that would be the case. Formerly it looked like the mRNA vaccines were 70% effective against infection. Now we have more data and it looks like 50%.

I’m back to masking indoors. I’m also getting my ass tested 2x/week. It’s free & if I’m infected I want to know right away for the sake of the people I care about.
