Actually when it comes to preventing hospitalization and death, the vaccines are 100% effective. It’s about the only thing that is 100% in this whole shit-show. They are also effective, albeit not 100%, in preventing disease and, to a lesser but still significant extent, infection, which means that vaccinated people are unlikely to be carriers.

If I were Biden I’d establish vaccine passports by executive order and endow them with every conceivable advantage. Plus it would be illegal to dock people if they missed work due to vaccine side effects. Plus anything else that would make it easy and tempting to get vaccinated.

These medicines are there for the taking, and may save your life and the lives of your loved ones. Other than people who have medical conditions that may mitigate against it, anyone who does not take advantage of these miracles of contemporary science is an idiot.
