Because prevention of disease is of paramount importance right now (because people are dying), the phase 3 trials of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines collected efficacy data on disease immunity. Sterilizing immunity is a different beast but (I think it was) Pfizer was able to conclude that their vaccine had around 50% efficacy for prevention of infection, with large error bars. So for that information we will just have to wait for the effectiveness data to roll in as the vaccines roll out.
Uhm, you do know the difference between disease immunity and sterilizing immunity, efficacy and effectiveness, disease and infection, and you know what an error bar is, right?
