Bev, [you know I love you] this reminds me of a story my son told me about my ex. Apparently she ordered rainbow rose seeds. Of course, rainbow roses are a botanical impossibility, and my ex would have known that. My son pointed this out, but [this is my son talking] "She was like, 'it's only ten dollars, and it's a beautiful thing to think about, and I just like to dream,' and blah, blah,.." The thing that made it so funny was that he said this in a devastating imitation of his mother's voice, made all the more effective by the fact that he looks like her.
