Breakfast of Champions

For my brother in breakfast

Good morning Eric Griggs. As long as we are brothers in breakfast, let me share with you (and with anybody else who reads this) one of my favorites.

Cook some grits, add butter. At the same time, prepare over-easy eggs, that is, with liquid centers.

Slide the eggs onto the grits.

With a knife and fork cut the eggs into the grits.

Add salt and pepper and dang is it go-oo-oo-d!
