Equity is not the same as equality of outcome. Equity addresses past and present injustice. But equity can mean addressing extreme inequality of outcome, so it would tend to bring outcomes closer as that is addressed. Elon Musk is currently using Twitter or X or whatever it is, in underhanded and (in Europe at least) illegal ways to get Trump elected. Is that fair?
