Fortunately I live with my life partner and our take on it is, either we have COVID-19 or we don’t, so we hug all we want.

All that other social hugging like of my choir mates, I was in the process of doing away with that anyway. I was at the point where I never initiated but did accept hugs. When we get back to rehearsals (a long way off — choir practice has been shown to be a particularly efficient way to spread virus particals) I won’t accept either. But then everyone will be skittish so I doubt that I will hurt anyone’s feelings.
