From what I’m reading you will be fine. I don’t picture you laying around watching daytime TV.

When I reached retirement age my boss used to say, “Q, if there was ever anybody who should retire it’s you! There are guys out there and it’s — their job is all they got! You’ve got theater, your music, shit you even have fricken martial arts! Go enjoy those things!”

I recently learned that one of those their-job-is-all-they-got guys — an avid Trump supporter — recently blew his own brains out with one of his many guns.

I retired just as I turned 67. I’ll be 70 this year and I am enjoying those things. Keep doing the things you love, and find new things. Recently I picked back up the band instrument I hadn’t played in 50 years and I’ve been having a blast with it in a local activist street band.

Retirement is awesome. Enjoy!
