Good choices.
I can’t even read the lyrics to “The Rose” without losing it. And "The Dutchman" slays me every time.
Neither of those are about being jilted though.

I recently attended a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony #6, Pathétique, and I cried like a baby through, well, not the 5/4 waltz so much, but the rest of it. The overwhelming sonic environment of a live symphony orchestra, in particular one of the caliber of the Boston Philharmonic, caries me away like nothing else.
