Hate to ruin the fact that this *had* 42 responses but gawd! I am SO glad I retired! I used to work with machinists, who tend toward OCD level perfectionism (have been one for like 10 years myself I know this to be true). In my subsequent life as manufacturing engineer and therefore Person of Authority I often used, "Let's not let the perfect be the enemy of the good." I didn’t know anyone else who ever said it but it got so that one guy in particular, call him "Bill," I'd say, "Bill," and he'd finish with LNLTPBTEOTG.
