Here in Rhode Island they have been open. Trump is deeply unpopular here and the governor is certainly no fan, but I think she was like, no, I’m not going to die on that hill.

In her shoes I think I would have done the same. Who needs the drama? She’s had her hands full yet RI is still one of the 19 states (at last count) where new COVID-19 cases are decreasing.* Let the gun huggers stock up on guns and ammo so they can go home and blow their own brains out in despair.

*I note that in Oklahoma they are through the roof.
