Here in the US, the people who go after wokeness and cancel culture turn around and scrub schools and libraries of anything suggesting antibellum plantations were worked by anyone other than singing, happy, "guest workers." The "war on wokeness" is nothing but a bad faith cover for the whitewashing and whitesplaining of our history by those too chickenshit to face the truth.
