How interesting that the last recommend recording includes both The Planets and Carmina Burana; two “hits” by composers widely thought of as one hit wonders and known chiefly for the portion(s) of their music found in film scores.

Concerning Orff I recall hearing that he stipulated in his will that all of his music save Carmina Burana be destroyed but that his executor overrode him, similar to the case of Kafka and Max Brod. True or urban legend? I figure you would know.
