Human interaction used to be free. We might ask someone to pick something up for us on their way over, or ask a friend to mind our children for an hour or so while we shop. When I was a child there was a group of 3 or 4 moms in the neighborhood who could call on each other and send their kids to each other's houses to play. We were all more-or-less friends so it worked.
Now for those things we used to get free we pay for an app to get between us and the thing we want and charge a fee.
Ah, capitalism! Stealing from us what we once possessed in common and selling it back to us.
