But music, yes you are much younger than me but I SO get it. I'll have to check out some of the resources you mentioned.
I wanted to be a pro musician when I was young but I wasn't talented enough. But now in retirement it's what I mainly do. I sing in choirs, classical and gospel, and I'm a horn player in a local activist street brass band, Extraordinary Rendition Band of Providence, RI. I just love it all! I'm in pain from a recent bicycle accident, but my music is the main way I deal with the depression that pain generates. Music is life, music is healing. In the words of Fredrick Nietzsche, "Without music, life would be a mistake."
