I don't worry about it too much. If I read something I like I might follow. For a while when someone followed me I'd go to their page, read something (unless it was all self-help), and if it was any good, follow them. But this didn't work because I get all these people who follow me because they think my bio is cute. They never actually read anything.
I even signed on for the email thing with like 3 or 4 people. I wouldn’t recommend it for you.
