I feel you on this. I had a dog once and I loved it but in general I’m not a dog person. But unlike you I’m not looking for a cure. I’m nice to dogs but I don’t go out of my way. Like if I’m out walking and someone passes me with a dog, even if it’s an especially beautiful or interesting one, I’ll take a pass on the petting part.
