I had an article I thought was a good fit. I filled out the make-me-a-writer form and sent them https://therabbitisin.com/a-place-in-the-choir-55dd53c02a66 as the story about my faith journey. They objected, saying it was from a web site not Medium, apparently not realizing that Medium publications can have independent URLs.
OK, no problem there. I straightened them out about that and with my reply sent a few more links having to do with my faith journey, all of them humorous: I am a writer and editor for the Medium Humor publication MuddyUm. The articles contained profanity but I gave them a trigger warning. I understood the rules. Lest they get the wrong idea, I told them the article I intended to submit was free of profanity and harsh language.
They said they would get back to me "next week." Next week came and went. They did not tell me yes or: No, you are too flippant or too much of a heretic for us, nothing, just crickets. They should have said something, not left me hanging, It would have cost them nothing. That isn't nice. I had spent considerable time and effort on the article. At length, like an idiot, I sent it to Illumination: Where Medium articles go to die. While I have your attention, here is the article:

What do you think, would Koinonia have wanted it?
