I have all those issues also but none of them bug me. I love getting notifications. How else would I know I exist?
The only thing that sort of bugs me is when I get a notification that says, "So-and-so tagged you..." and it turns out I'm part of a massive "tag blanket" to use Roz Warren's term. That's such a cheesy way to get peeps to open your story.
