I haven’t seen a complete month of “new” payments yet so I don’t know how it’s going to affect me yet.

I posted my first article in Nov 2015 and my first behind-the-paywall in (hold on while I check) April of this year so there it is there. My largest monthly Stripe payment was $18.98 for October so there it also is there.

I get a charge out of it when something I write seems to resonate with people. It’s been interesting to try different approaches. “I Made 4¢ on Fiction” is an example of my “whiny/snarky” approach. In my most recent piece (featured on my profile) I got back to my “raise a tear” mode. In fact last night I told one of my choir mates that it’s actually a psychological test because if it doesn’t raise a tear you are dead inside lol!

Medium is a great community full of constructive feedback, encouragement, humor, and heart. The more you put into it the more you get out of it. That’s what keeps me here. Thank you for interacting with my work!
