I identify with so much of this! Especially the part about the followers. I have more than twice as many followers as folloees because like you I don’t hit follow unless I’ve read and liked at least one thing. I found out by asking that people follow me because they think bio is cute, so that’s OK. I’m not at all creeped out by it. Pro tip: never follow anyone who has the words “life coach” in their bio. Now if I could only figure out why, on my home feed, beyond 2 or 3 scroll swipes there’s nothing but snoozers about programming and data mining!
