I might have agreed but for my daughter. She got a degree in political science at UMass but by that time already knew she didn’t want to work with the sort of people who run for office. So she got a job doing payroll. She did their 940s for them so they paid for her to go to BHCC and study accounting. Nowadays that’s what she does. She looks at me and says, “I’m a numbers person. When did that happen?”
I said all that to point out that junior college aka community college is where you learn actual saleable skills.
