I posted my first post on 11/11/2015 and got my first curation (music) 1/1/2019. I didn’t start paywalling until 4/13 /2019. My next curations were in self, fiction, relationships, and mental health. That last was 12/5/2019 and I been in jail ever since. Most of the time I’m in curation jail. For me, a curation is a rare and pleasant surprise.

I deliberately do everything wrong for example I started my own publication for my two favorite story children, both multi-part epics that wander a bit. But they are my wayward children and I love them, even though they get almost no attention. Except for the one episode of one that was curated under fiction and the episode of the other that contains adolescent masturbation and sexual abuse so of course everybody wants to read that. (I love my Medium readers but they are such pervs. Then again I wrote it so who am I to talk?)

I write more than I ever thought I would — that’s what I love about Medium. It’s motivating. I can’t explain why, but it’s motivating.
