Prime I'm still on because of the shipping breaks on Amazon, but I quit Netflix for the same reason I don't watch Prime video, namely, the imposition of ads at the lowest tier, and their insulting email telling me how wonderful this was for me.
Now I simply don't watch TV. Me quitting Netflix does not seem to have accomplished anything other than me not watching ads because there aren't enough "me"s out there. I liked some of the shows but fuck it. I get more reading and writing done and I sleep better.
But there are a lot of TV addicted people out there. I didn't even possess a TV from about 1972, when I graduated from college, until about 1993, when I had a little daughter who wanted to watch Barney.

I should really ditch Prime and get everything from McMaster Carr, Bike Trader, Sewing Parts Online and the like. In all of those cases, especially McMaster Carr, which sells hardware and industrial supplies, you can zero in on the exact product you actually want, if it exists, with very little trouble.
