I really like this, very incisive. As a former Wiccan I encountered a great deal of New Age thinking. At festivals there were always a lot of people selling crystals, essential oils, tarot decks, and miscellaneous spiritual tchotchkes. A girlfriend I met at a fest* once said it best: "If these things had half the *energy* they are supposed to we'd all die of cancer right now."
