I remember getting my polio shots. I also remember my parents talking about so-and-so and my mom saying, "Oh, she's one of those people who won't get their kids vaccinated. She's dumb! Dumb!" Then, noticing we overhead, started talking about the times when "...kids were always dying of these terrible diseases. That's why we made sure you kids got all your shots."
I'm 74 now and I still get all my shots. Flu, COVID, shingles, pneumonia, RSV, you name it! Shoot me right TF up, doc!
