I signed up for Bluesky, posted a few things, then when I opened it a few days later I felt that Giant Sucking Sensation, like I was staring into an abyss & Chthulu was staring up at me. Social media is just not for me. I've been off Shitter and Hatebook for years.
Medium is my social medium. I think the structure of social media qua social media is the problem. Medium isn't like that because hot takes and memes are not a thing here. I'm on Substack and the "Notes" feature is filled with such. Tony, if you are reading this, please continue to resist temptation.
