I spent most of my adult life in Wicca, so none of this is new to me. When I eventually returned to Christianity, because of music (that's another story), I took it with me. At the church I attend people are much more open to it than I would have thought, but it should not surprise me. If it wasn’t for that (among other things) I would never have found a home here.

Sometimes they surprise and delight me. For example, not that long ago the choir sung the Bobby McFerrin version of the 23rd Psalm

As it happens I wasn’t singing with the choir that day.

In any case, thank you for writing all that. Perhaps the human race will survive long enough to redress this imbalance.
