I used to wash my hair with bar soap until a girlfriend found out and told me that was why my hair was so dry and had such an abundance of split ends, and that I needed to cease and desist! To this day though I use it if there is nothing else around.
I know I'm using the cheapest shampoo on the shelf because Maxine buys the shampoo, and that's how she shops.
