I was a huge fan of the book series & inhaled all 9. Yet that was like 30 years ago minimum & I find myself in no hurry to see the movie.
The Bene Gesserit are the ultimate baddasses. I mean, can you get more baddass than THE VOICE? They play a very long game, something my younger self didn’t even notice until somewhere in the second trilogy, if that early.
I’m thinking if I read it now I probably wouldn’t even like it, so why go to the movies to see half of the very first volume? Other than, because.
