I wasn’t paying much attention either, other than to reflect on how it was going pretty well. But the pandemic hasn’t exactly facilitated that attitude. Plus just the other day another tooth broke off, leaving me feeling like an old car that’s falling apart. No choice now but implants* if I don’t want to eat baby food until the day I die. Ah but I’ll live to fight another day. Do I have any reason to think that my 70s will be as awesome as my 60s were? No spoilers, please.

* Gaps are too big for another partial. That’s on both sides. Implants are just going in on the one side. I’ve been happy for years with one “chewing side.”
