I'm 71 & I'm trying to figure out what your problem is. If you have no trouble hearing good for you but I appreciate it when people enunciate even if clumsily because even with hearing aids sometimes it is hard. The other day I had a rare instance of needing help getting over tricky terrain which I had stumbled upon barefoot. I had to drop to all fours and I was grateful for the two younger people nearby who expressed concern & 1 of whom took my arm and got me to where I could manage and so did not have to crawl there. People are trying to help & are often clumsy about it well all are human & all are flawed. I'm learning to climb off that how-dare-you high horse & I suggest you do the same. You will be happier.
