Indeed. Free will requires that God create an exception to God’s omniscience, namely, the acts of free will beings, not all of whose acts are going to be acts of choice of course. It is unfathomable why God would want to do that. Perhaps God thought God’s existence would be overly boring otherwise. That’s the whole point of (part 1 at least) of Hi. I’m God.
