Interesting. You made me think of something my daughter did in high school. She went to an alternate high school where every graduate had to prepare and present a valedictory speech.
She got up and read "Howl" by Allen Ginsburg. She had clearly practiced because she delivered it in rapid-fire without missing a single word. I was as appalled as everyone else at first, but the next day realized what had happened: my daughter had pulled off a high level literary prank. She's going to be 32 in a couple of days but to this day if a situation warrants me recounting a time when I was especially proud of my daughter, I pull that out.
