It just might help, and it could be implemented at minimal cost. It wouldn’t hurt me either, because I never comment unless I read the whole thing. I don’t want to be like “that guy.”

Do you get many negative comments on Medium? I can count on the fingers of one hand the number that I’ve received. In fact one highly critical comment was actually constructive, and I spent quite a while on a thoughtful answer to their concerns.

I’d like to think that there are fewer jerks on Medium, but maybe it’s because I typically don’t write about controversial things that I experience so little negative blow-back.
