It’s totally that, first degree in fact, in my state at any rate [& probably lots of others], as I learned from being on a grand jury. Child sexual assault was mostly what we dealt with, and so we had to learn the difference between first degree and everything else. Shit is so disturbing. I had trouble sleeping.
