I've pretty much resigned myself to a Trump victory. He will inherit good macroeconomic indicators from his predecessor, just as before. And, just as before, he will take credit for them. He will also goose the stock market with a massive tax cut for the uber-rich, that is, the very people responsible for untenable housing costs, rising prices of necessities, and the enshittifiaction of technology, and bloviate about how great everything is as homelessness and immiseration grow.

He will follow his followers and they will love him.
