Like much of your writing it is heartfelt and leaves you vulnerable, which takes courage. Parenting invariably turns out different than we expected. My second marriage + our daughter constituted a second family, yet it was still full of surprises. When I look at our daughter now, the fine adult she has grown into, I figure I must not have been too lousy of a parent. Her brothers are in awe of her. “M has her shit together, that’s for sure!”
