My brother had to go back to jail for two weeks for a parole violation. Like an idiot, he left the special cell phone he was required to have on his person at all times at home. He had one of those in addition to the ankle monitor.

This was during 2020. At first he thought, “Well good. I’ll be in quarantine for two weeks and then I’ll be out. I won’t have to deal with any drama from the other prisoners.” No such luck. He said the quarantine procedures at the jail were a sick joke. Somehow he made it through the two weeks without getting ‘rona.
