My maternal grandparents loved that guy. Interestingly, at a recent family event to which my sister brought pictures, some of the grandfather in question, it came out that what all of us remember most clearly about them is how racist they were. They could never seem to shut up about it. Even my Trumper sister remembers that most clearly.
She would no doubt deny being a racist herself. Lots of Trump supporters do that.
