My wife tells me that weighted blankets have been available at Ocean State Job Lot since like forever. They carry the Snuggle Me for $30, the Wellbeing for $30, and the Snuggle Me with sleeves also for $30. All 15 pounders — no 20 pounders there that I could find on line. Maybe as late capitalists we need to rack up at least $250 in sunk costs in order to make the magic work. Or maybe it’s those 5 additional pounds. But does yours have sleeves? There’s the jacket you wanted! Or a hood?
