No sooner had I started to read this than a notification came on my phone. It was an article in the NY Times about another “shooting incident” involving a “gunman” in a FedEx warehouse.

Those antiseptic euphemisms.

It’s not a “shooting incident.” It’s a mass murder. He isn’t a “gunman.” He’s a murderer.
