Not a fan of his music, but not a fan of cancel culture either. Let private companies do what they want with respect to him in order to boost their brand. It is their prerogative.

Earlier this summer my band played at the opening ceremonies of the NecronomiCon, which leans heavily on the work of Providence native HP Lovecraft.

Later some members questioned if we should have accepted that gig in view of Lovecraft's well known anti-semitism and racism. I was like, are we a community band or not? This is a community event. And it's not like the organizers are pretending. They have panel discussions about that very topic every year.
