OK so I’m one of those snobs who never watched the TV series because of devotion to the books, so I have to wait. Although if GRRM ever comes out with another book I might just skip it because by now I have I forgotten what the fuck was going on. Or maybe pick it up again out of love for Brienne. I mean what kind of monster would you have to be not to love Brienne?

The next person who says something like “It’s not like GRRM needs the money” gets shot. I mean how the fuck do you know? He may be gambling away all his money, like Mozart. That guy was the rock star of his day yet in the end they threw his dead, sorry ass in a ditch then sprinkled a little quicklime over it.* No Gambler’s Anonymous in those days.
