Ritual can be a way to enact our connection. Maybe that is why I love it, why I am Episcopalian, and one more reason why the pandemic leaves me feeling so bereft. It’s just my background, life history (Episcopalian — atheist — Wiccan — atheist — Episcopalian) three out of four concern themselves heavily with ritual. But then that’s just me.
