Since COVID been much more careful. I've missed four rehearsals of the Gospel Choir of which I am a member due to two separate colds. We are working on a show to be presented at the end of February featuring songs from the civil rights struggle interwoven with narrative. I love every minute of rehearsals, and I feel so honored to be part of this group which contains such talented people.
But I WON'T risk spreading infection among the group. By this evening I will probably feel pretty good but I've already begged off and I'm sticking with the plan. Besides I sing tenor there and right now I sound like Darth Vader.
I think it's about respect. Respect your fellow musicians. Don't get them sick.
