Such people are extremely unlikely to be swayed by logical arguments. For example you had pastors opening churches back in mid April, and even claims that God would protect the congregants. Those people were, of course, ignoring Matthew 4, wherein a devil takes Jesus to the top of a temple and challenges him, “If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Jesus rejoins with, “It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”

At least the above argument is within the context of their existing belief system, but still unlikely to get through to those who are ideologically driven.

I have one really good friend who rejects evolution, and is an avil environmental activist. Also a choir mate (who I have not seen since early March — in our choir we do not tempt the Lord our God) who is an anti-vaxer. The director is a flat earther. Non of this gets in the way of our music. It took SARS-CoV-2 to do that.
